Get out to Luckenbach this Sunday, August 23rd, for your chance to make guitar history. We are going for the Guiness Book of World Records. We have to beat the German's at guitar slinging! They played a tune with 1803 guitarists at the same time and we are shooting for 2,000. Costs $10 and everyone who is ANYONE (even in Luckenbach) will be there. The whole Music Office gang will be on hand with guitars blazing! For more information click here.
Here are a few animations that wound up on the cutting room floor of one of our pre-vis projects at The Music Office. All computer animations are by Greg Forest using the tools we teach - Vue, Poser, DAZ3D, Particle Illusion and PhotoImpact.

The
sharks always circle artists in this rough and tumble business.
The purpose of managers, publishers and labels is to exploit the
artist in a manner that will bring the greatest return on
investment. It is hard for a songwriter or musician/performer to
view themselves as a commodity - just like all the others on the
shelves but that will be your management's bottom line. Self
defense is a must and you can get yours
here. Includes CD with dozens of contracts and forms.
There
has never been a better time to get your band in front of a global
audience with video than now! YouTube and dozens of the social
networking sites are just waiting for your video. Author Greg Forest
walks you through the entire process from conception to upload. Tips
and tricks that will save you hours of time and mountains of
grief fill this book. The book comes with a DVD packed with content
to make your music video stand out. You can get your copy
here.
The
original contract library and business guide to success. Not only do
you get a library of music contracts that will spell out what you
are expected to give and receive in a deal, there are dozens
of forms and spreadsheets in Excel format that you can used to
project your earnings, determine the band's monetary worth and
standing. This book is the original - don't accept the many
imitators. You can get your copy
here.

We'll be out in force on August 23rd to take a stab at the World's
